Very rewarding and stimulating sessions.
Mrs. Takashita is a very experienced, friendly, helpful and thoughtful pilates instructor. She asks about how you are feeling, what you are experiencing physically and mentally and what you would like to achieve. She takes you “condition” (how you are feeling at that moment) into account for the exercises of that day.
During the exercises, she pays attention and gives guidance to every movement and every position of your body. That way, even the “easiest” exercises become very impactful – and sometimes difficult to do well!
Mrs. Takashita has been working with people who are recovering from an injury, an illness or other setbacks, both as pilates instructor and as a physical therapist. This enables her to focus on parts of the body or movements that are more challenging for the person she’s working with. For me, it has brought me great achievements in a very short period.
She is also very much aware of the connection between body and mind, and how this has an impact both mentally and physically. If you think something is difficult, it makes it more challenging to do it as well, and if you can do an exercise that was difficult before, it also makes you feel better.
Based on this approach, her sessions are always very rewarding and stimulating. And apart from her knowledge about pilates, she is also a very friendly person who is interested in your personal life and goals.

I cannot recommend Shoko and her private Shokolates sessions highly enough. From the very first class, it was clear that Shoko brings an exceptional level of skill and intuition to her work.
What sets her apart is her ability to assess your body with remarkable precision. She identified postural imbalances and areas of tension that I had been carrying for years without even fully realising it. Years of stress and built-up tension had quietly shaped some really unhelpful habits in my body, and Shoko not only spotted them but designed a programme specifically around addressing them.
Her exercises are thoughtful, targeted, and genuinely effective. Every session felt personal because she tailors everything to your body, your history, and your needs. She has a gift for explaining not just what to do, but why, which gave me a much deeper understanding of where my body needed attention and how to support it going forward. This has really helped transform the way I exercise generally.

Shoko is an incredible instructor!
Shoko is an incredible instructor! She has a tonne of experience and a clear attention to detail. Before starting the program, she conducted a thorough full-body assessment, which made a huge difference. She tailored the exercises specifically to my body, strengths, and areas that needed improvement.
Her sessions are well-structured, challenging in the right way, and incredibly focused on proper form and long-term results. She has a great ability to push you while still making you feel supported and confident throughout.
After just four weeks, the results were noticeably different. I felt stronger, more stable, and more aware of how my body moves, and I could already see clear improvements in posture and muscle tone.

From Pain to Freedom
I had pain in my left shoulder for about 7 years, and around 3 years ago both shoulders became so painful that I sometimes couldn’t sleep at night. The doctor told me it was “frozen shoulder” and only gave me painkillers. I had also been visiting a chiropractor once a month for 30 years, but the relief only lasted a few days.
When I first tried remote SHOKOLATES, I was honestly skeptical, but after the very first session, I felt my shoulders open up. By the second session, I could even see in the mirror that my posture had changed. Now, the pain in my shoulder is gradually improving, and I’m experiencing changes I had never felt before.
One day, I couldn’t even stand because of back pain. After a single session, I was surprised to find I could stand up comfortably again. I’m truly excited about the progress and look forward to seeing further improvements!
